Harvey Schwartz Workshops on Automotive Photography Have you ever seen an image of an automobile that made you say, “How did the photographer do that?” Harvey Schwartz says after you attend his automotive photography workshop, you’ll be saying, “I can do this.” After amassing 18 plus years as an automotive photographer, Harvey has decided to teach the tricks of his trade. The half-day workshop is held in South Florida, and will include a new automobile to photograph.
Harvey has been taking photographs of cars and trucks since 1992 and has a long-time association with LA CAR. Harvey’s work can also be found in Malibu Magazine, Ventana Monthly, Mustang Enthusiast, Muscle Car Power, Corvette Enthusiast, Auto-Traders Milestones, Restyling, and other publicaitons. On the international stands you can find Harvey in Chrome & Flames Magazine of Germany, and AMCAR Magazine of Norway. Harvey’s photo credits are on many online publications. Agencies in New York and England license Harvey’s images of vehicles for book publication, advertising, posters, and calendars. Harvey’s large color prints of automobiles have also been displayed at the Petersen Automotive Museum, and at several Southern California galleries.
For the workshop, Harvey says he’ll teach participants how to photograph motor vehicles. “For both the amateur or professional photographer, I’ll reveal the techniques that can make your automotive images a work of art that you can be proud of,” says Harvey. Prerequisites: One year experience using a DSLR Digital Camera, a wide angle, telephoto lens or zoom lens. Please bring a pen for taking notes (a handout will be provided).
Cost: $129.00 (cash). Advance registration is required. Seminars will last 3 to 5 hours. Photography will take place in beautiful South Florida. Classes are limited to four participants per workshop.
