UPI Enters the C-10 Market

Resto parts maker United Pacific Industries embraces the venerable Chevy C-10 pick-up

Falling in love with a classic car is easy. Restoring it, or more specifically, finding for all the parts to restore it is not so easy. Enter parts manufactuer United Pacific Industries (UPI). For decades UPI has been one of the first places to go to if you were trying to restore/resto-mod your hot rod or classic truck.

Naturally the definition of “classic” evolves over time. When a ’98 Prelude Type SH is considered classic that’s when I’ll know it’s time to cash in the 401k. UPI recently invited everyone over to their expansive headquarters in Long Beach as part of their roll-out of Chevy C-10 truck parts.

If I wasn’t already working on my ’57 Chevy I might be tempted to explore further and get bit by the C-10 bug. The classic lines of the C-10 generation are considered by many to be the best-looking trucks that Chevy made. Indeed without the C-10 there would be no Silverado/Yukon/Escalade.

We look forward to taking UPI up on their offer for a tour in person, until then we’ll have to daydream over these photos.
