It’s Southern California’s first auto show of the model year. That alone made the 2015 Model Orange County International Auto Show worth the price of admission. The Orange County show got some of its wind knocked out when organizers of the Los Angeles show decided to move from January to November, right up next to the OC show. No matter. It’s all about the new cars. And the OC show had plenty of that—new cars, a number of high-end exotics, over 100 test drive opportunities, electric vehicles and more. The show drew from a very big crowd—Orange County and Long Beach.
The Orange County International Auto Show is owned and presented by the Orange County Automobile Dealers Association and produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows, LLC.

There is something for everyone to check out at the OC International Auto Show!
This big event kicked-off the 2015-model auto show season, offering consumers the chance to compare hundreds of new models side by side from more than 35 manufacturers, all under one roof. Attendees were able to sit in the driver's seats, inspect engines, kick tires, count cup holders, check trunk space, test drive vehicles and take in that new car smell. Dozens of new models turned heads on the show floor including the 2015 BMW i8, Dodge Charger Hellcat, Chevrolet Camaro Z28, Cadillac ELR (electric), Jeep Renegade, all-new Honda CR-V, Toyota FCV (fuel cell), Mercedes-Benz B-Class (electric), all-new Nissan Murano, Ford F-150, and Hyundai Tucson FC (fuel cell). Additionally, the Kia GT4 Stinger Concept, 50th Anniversary Ford Mustang and the Mazda 25th Anniversary MX-5 Miata were on display.
"This year's auto show was about celebrating Southern California's longtime love affair with cars, as the Orange County International Auto Show celebrates 50 years of showing the vehicles of the future," said Orange County Automobile Dealers Association Executive Director John Sackrison. "From classic cars to all-new vehicles that have yet to hit dealer showrooms, this year's 50th anniversary OC International Auto Show excited everyone from extreme car aficionados to everyday drivers."
After checking out their favorite new models in the displays, licensed drivers were invited to get behind the wheel and test drive more than 100 new model vehicles from 15 manufacturers including Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, FIAT, Ford, GMC, Jeep®, Kia, Mazda, Nissan, Ram, Scion, Toyota and Volkswagen. Test drives and ride along opportunities took place both inside and outside the convention center.
Back by popular demand, Camp Jeep® Anaheim returned to the OC International Auto Show. Professional 4x4 drivers took passengers through an exciting off-road test track, inside the convention center. The Jeep® test track will thrill passengers with logs, stumps, angled drive-overs and a climb up a 35-degree Jeep® Mountain to demonstrate the Jeep's traction capabilities! Children were invited to test drive a mini-Power Jeep® and enjoy a 25' rock climbing wall.
A multi-million dollar collection of show-stopping exotics from Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Maserati and Porsche, as well as an ultra-high-end collection of dazzling rides from duPont REGISTRY™ LIVE, filled the show floor. From celebrity-owned rides to over-the-top luxury vehicles, attendees got an up-close look at these rare vehicles. Further down the aisle, the DUB® Magazine Celebrity Car Showcase hosted a collection oft tricked-out rides from music and sports celebrities.
Vintage car fans were delighted in an up-close look at the historical jewels featured in Treasures from Crevier Classic Cars, a handful of ultra-rare collectible vehicles from Crevier Classic Cars. From a 1931 Chrysler CG Imperial Convertible to a 1963 Volkswagen 15 Window Deluxe Microbus, attendees enjoyed a handful of classic vehicles that are seldom on display outside of the Crevier Classic Cars facility which houses more than 80 rare vehicles.
SHIFTR Automotive and Lifestyle Expo treated attendees with a custom car show within the auto show filled with dozens of custom cars, tuners, lowriders, exotics and more. The Hot Rod Showcase will also provide a walk down memory lane featuring more than 20 former HOT ROD Magazine cover cars from the last 65 years on display.
