The 24th annual Woodward Dream Cruise was held on August 18, and featured an estimated 40,000 classic and custom cars.

The legendary Woodard Dream Cruise is free and open to the public, and runs through 9 consecutive cities along a 16-mile stretch of Woodward Avenue, the first concrete road in the US, and which serves as the dividing line between the east and west sides of metro Detroit.

Mark Dapoz was there to rubberneck his way up and down the avenue in search of noteworthy rides. Although impossible to take it all in, here are a few of this year’s favorite sights.
