The Drifters Car Club of Southern California (the Drifters) along with The Wildomar Elks Lodge #2591, and adjoining Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) Post 1508, will host a car show on Sunday, November 8th. The event is sponsored by BMW of Murrieta, Gosch Auto Group and Consult-A-Tech; all proceeds will benefit Oak Grove Youth.

“The Drifters have been an Oak Grove supporter for many years,” said Tammy Wilson, Oak Grove Center CEO. “Each year they produce the Murrieta Rod Run, which helps to fund Oak Grove Center’s enrichment activities, including art, music, sports and Culinary Creations, the premiere vocational jobs training program. This year things are different, and large events like the Murrieta Rod Run had to be cancelled. We are very grateful for all of the Sponsors for putting together the Car Clubs for Kids Fall Car Show. All of the proceeds will directly benefit our youth, which is so important at a time when our youth need more activities on campus due to COVID-19 restrictions.”

Participating vehicles will be allowed entry at 7:30 a.m. and the show begins at 9:00 a.m.; for the participating vehicles there is a $20 registration fee. There is no admission fee to enter, however, a donation to Oak Grove Center is highly encouraged. Temperatures will be taken upon arrival. Masks are required and social distancing will be practiced. Food and beverages are available for purchase. In addition to the car show awards, a 50-50 raffle will be available; the winner must be present to win.
